Assessment and Fee
Assessment Process
 
Green Medalists (committing at least 3 or more environmental projects)    are    expected    to    complete   their environmental   projects    within   a specified   period
 (1 January 2011 - 31 December 2011).  The FHKI and the Programme's partnered assessment bodies will jointly determine if project targets have been successfully achieved. Participants will be responsible for providing evidences to prove their achievements. Participating companies are required to undertake on-site assessment by an assessment body to verify claimed accomplishments.

An independent panel of judges will be formed, composing of environmental professionals, business leaders and university professors. The panel reserves the right not to offer award(s) if no suitable winners are identified. The panel's decision shall be final.

 
Selection of Assessment Bodies
 
Participants will select from the Programmer's partnered assessment bodies, for on-site assessment. Please refer to Supporting Organizations for a list of assessors
 
Fee
 

No application fee is required.

A HK$4,000 assessment fee is required for Green Medalist participants.

• A full subsidy of HK$4,000 per factory will be granted to companies that meet the following criteria:
One of the first 50 Green Medalist participants to enter the 2010/11 Awards; and
Participated in the Awards for three consecutive years
 
• A half subsidy of HK$2,000 per factory will be granted to each of the 51st to 90th Green Medalist participants.

The organizer reserves the right to provide a full or partial subsidy. The assessment fee should be settled upon completion of the assessment. For on-site assessments that take place in mainland China, the assessor’s transportation and accommodation expenses must be borne by participating companies.
