Introduction

Background
Established by the the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Hang Seng Bank in 2007, the “Hang Seng Pearl River Delta Environmental Awards” was set up under the manufacturing category of the One Factory-One Year-One Environmental Project (1-1-1) Programme launched by FHKI in 2005. The Awards aim to recognise and encourage sound environmental practices by manufacturing companies (including transportation and logistics) in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region. Since its launch, the Awards has received a wide support from governments from both sides of the border, relevant organizations and industries. Your company is invited to participate.

Objectives
The aim of the Programme is to reduce pollution that is affecting people in Hong Kong and the PRD region. Your participation will help improve the worsening environment.

	Green Medalists
	Green Participants
	3 Years + entrant

Eligibiity
Applications are invited from companies with a valid business registration certificate that undertake their manufacturing processes (including transportation and logistics) in Hong Kong and/or in the PRD region.  Manufacturing companies (including transportation and logistics) which have completed at least one environmental project from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2011 are eligible to participate.
